We are a family friendly hotel and welcome children, although we don’t have a family room as such, we can add up to 2 (high quality) camp beds to several of our Superior rooms. We have a children’s menu for the youngest of our visitors and half portions are never a problem from the main menu.

From the hotel we can organise pony trekking or in the hotel grounds Falconry lessons or demonstrations.

A couple of minutes by car from May to October the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle are open as is the Adventure Playground pictured below. Perfect for kids of all ages.

A little further a field  the Cocoa bean chocolate factory, Cream of Galloway Ice cream and adventure park and Mabie farm park make  great days out for the kids. We look forward to welcoming you to our family friendly hotel.
