Our food
Trigony offers you excellent rustic cuisine served in our hotel restaurant. Ingredients are sourced from the very finest local suppliers and growers. We also have our own walled garden for the freshest fruit, vegetables and herbs plucked by our chef sometimes just hours before cooking.
Grounds and Activities
Standing in 4+ acres of stunning woodland Trigony offers simple strolls in our grounds or if you are a more adventurous type you can roam more widely and use Trigony as a base to begin exploring the surrounding Scottish countryside and local Dumfries attractions. From the rolling southern uplands to the dramatic cliff-top paths of the Solway coast, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxed romantic short Scottish luxury break
We arrange many activities for our guests, from spending time in our Garden Spa to hiking up the hills, however long you stay and depending on your energy levels we have an activity to suit. From a falconry experience in the hotel grounds to horse riding through the Nithsdale valley, or what about a Land Rover safari or a mountain bike trip into the southern uplands? Salmon and Loch fishing are both available locally and if you can’t decide we also offer a hotel gift voucher for all these activities as they really do make the perfect and unique gift.
